Tracey Robinson is the founder of Trace Skin Care, an innovative, patient-centered practice offering personal, non-surgical skin solutions, located in Nashville, Tennessee. In establishing her own company, Robinson brings a unique mix of top-flight education, real-world training, and hands-on experience to a growing list of discriminating clients who appreciate the one-of-a-kind combination of empathy and expertise that Trace Skin Care consistently provides.

Born and raised in Nashville, Robinson attended Vanderbilt University, earning her Bachelor of Science in human and organizational development with a focus in health and human services. She continued on at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, earning her Masters of Science in nursing with a specialty in women’s health.

Heading west for her first job, at Camelback Women’s Health in Scottsdale, Arizona, Robinson then relocated to Manhattan where she spent two years at East Side Gynecology before moving on to New York’s prestigious Laser and Skin Surgery Center.

Expecting her first child, she returned to Nashville in 2004, becoming the Director for the Skin and Rejuvenation Center at Gold Skin Care, where she acted as sub investigator on several laser and filler studies, and assisted with sales staff training for Cynosure, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of light-based aesthetic and medical treatment systems. With a growing and dedicated clientele, Robinson then started an aesthetic practice at Nashville’s Vein Centre before founding Trace Skin Care in 2008.

In her own words:

As I write this, I am overcome with gratitude for all of my clients, friends, and family who have supported me over the past five years, making Trace Skin Care’s first year a success! I am proud to be a women’s health nurse practitioner turned skin care specialist. I feel that I am continuing to treat, support, and in some ways mend a woman’s self-esteem. The same way I would gather information for a well woman exam, obstetric visit, or a general problem visit has not changed for me. The area of concern has shifted to the skin, and the client in the chair might not always be a female, but my approach as an advanced nurse practitioner has and will remain the same. I will first and foremost listen to my client and gather a real understanding of their concern, offer my own objective observation, assess and prioritize the concerns with the client, and finally establish a reasonable plan of care.

My priority is the overall canvas and not just a wrinkle between the brows. I will not rush the process,   and I expect a lot of my clients at home. I will educate you regarding your skin. I will let you go when I have exhausted all treatment options to help guarantee your desired result. Therefore, I will continue to promote relations between myself and the many wonderful plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and aestheticians that are here in Nashville, so that I can continue to be your skin care advocate. I will never tell you that I ‘have it all’ or ‘can do it all’, but I will always offer you my very best.
