INJECTABLE TREATMENTS

BOTOX® COSMETIC & DYSPORT

Botox® Cosmetic is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles formed from muscle contraction. This product will not only help diminish lines that already exist, but it will prevent others from forming. The price is calculated per unit. A personalized mapping of the desired area(s) to be treated will determine the number of units needed.

Axillary Hyperhidrosis: Botox Cosmetic is FDA approved for excessive underarm perspiration that is not adequately managed with topical agents. Botox® neurotoxin treatment helps control this condition by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, the excessive sweating stops. You should notice a significant reduction in underarm sweating within 4 weeks of your first treatment and results should last up to 6-8 months.

DERMAL FILLERS

A variety of dermal fillers are used to fill or replace the lost volume in static wrinkles, lines and folds. Dermal fillers can also be used to enhance, define, or enlarge lips and to shape the face by injection into cheeks, chins, and eyebrows. Temporary fillers offered are: Restylane®, Perlane® , JuvedermTM Ultra, JuvedermTM Ultra Plus, and CosmoDerm®.

Hyaluronidase is a substance that can very quickly reverse temporary hyaluronic acid fillers should there be any misplacement of filler, undesirable effects, or lumps. A topical anesthetic cream is provided and oral blocks are available upon request.

In 2010, the FDA approved JUVÉDERM^® XC formulated with the local anesthetic lidocaine to provide patients with a more comfortable injection experience when compared to the non-lidocaine formulation, and potentially less time spent in the physician’s office. JUVÉDERM^® Ultra XC and JUVÉDERM^® Ultra Plus XC contain 0.3% preservative-free lidocaine and numb the treatment area within seconds, potentially reducing the need for an additional anesthetic. JUVÉDERM^® XC products provide the same smooth, long-lasting results as demonstrated with existing JUVÉDERM^® products.

All dermal fillers, with the exception of Perlane-L, are available in 1/2 cc syringes. 1/2 cc syringes do not contain lidocaine.

LASER SERVICES

The Cynosure Apogee EliteTM offers revolutionary technology by combining two optimal wavelengths in one system: the 755 nm Alexandrite laser and a high powered 1064 nm Nd: YAG laser. Cynosure’s Elite Aesthetic Workstation is the most comprehensive laser hair removal system available today. In addition the system is optimized for effective treatment of facial and leg veins, as well as benign epidermal pigmented lesions and overall skin tightening. The laser also incorporates the use of the Smart Cool system by CynosureTM. The Smart Cool system is used with the laser to minimize patient discomfort during treatment.

HAIR REMOVAL

The laser offers permanent hair reduction that can be used to treat patients with all types of skin, dark and light. The laser affects only hair follicles which are currently active or growing (anagen), thus subsequent treatments may be required. Price is determined by area treated.

BROKEN CAPILLARIES

The laser offers treatment of broken capillaries to the face, neck, chest, and legs. More than one treatment may be necessary. Price is determined by area treated.

PIGMENTED LESIONS

The laser offers treatment for the removal of benign epidermal pigmented lesions to the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs. More than one treatment may be necessary. Price is determined by area treated.

SKIN TIGHTENING

The laser offers a non-invasive way to visibly reduce redness, age spots, improve elasticity, help produce new collagen and gently ease fine lines and wrinkles by heating the dermis and stimulating fibroblast activity. At least 6 sessions are recommended for optimum results. Priced per treatment or package.

MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion is a process that deeply exfoliates, polishes, and increases the lymphatic drainage of skin. It uses a gentle vacuum to bring your skin in contact with a diamond coated head that gently abrades the top layer of dead skin. It can be used in the treatment of sunspots, pigmentation, acne (it is particularly good for comedonal acne/ blackheads), acne scarring, fine lines, pores, and dull skin. It is most commonly used on the face, but can be used on the neck, back, and hands. Treatments can be enhanced when used in conjunction with medical grade chemical peels. At least 6 sessions are recommended for optimum results. Priced per treatment or package.

MEDICAL GRADE CHEMICAL PEELS

Medical grade chemical peels are used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and sun damage. It also improves blemishprone skin and overall skin tone and texture. This is an affordable option for patients concerned with aging and hyper pigmentation and is a wonderful adjunct treatment when combined with injectables, laser, and microdermabrasion. At least 6 sessions are recommended for optimum results. Priced per peel or package.
